M/V ADVENTURER II
INDONESIA LIVE-ABOARD SCUBA DIVING

The Archipelago Adventurer II is a newly constructed Phinisi, traditionally built in Indonesia. Dive live-aboards have been cruising Indonesia for many years, however the Archipelago Adventurer II vessel raises the standards. All of her spacious, luxurious, comfortable staterooms have separate en-suite hot water shower and bathroom facilities; full air-conditioning and all have direct views of the ocean. She will be cruising the Banda Sea and the exotic waters of Raja Ampat. Divers and explorers aboard will experience a new concept of dive live-aboards, which focus on fine dining, attentive service and a comfortable personal voyage. This is a very special boat as it moves to different locations around Indonesia where the conditions are the best. This means customers that find a boat that they like can visit the best of Indonesia without running the risk of a new less comfortable vessel.

Destinations the boat will visit:
Banda Sea: Cruises to the Banda Sea offer divers the opportunity to experience some of the most remote, untouched reefs in Indonesia. The historic islands, once famed for their exotic harvests of nutmeg and cloves, are now emerging as the prime destination for diving in Eastern Indonesia. In addition to the varied mix of plunging coral encrusted wall diving, pristine soft and hard coral slopes and macro opportunities, the real highlight of the region is the abundant schooling fish life and the curious oversized pelagic species that frequently accompany divers. With guaranteed Mandarin Fish interaction in the expansive natural harbor in front of Banda Town, the diversity and quality of the diving in store for adventurous divers is simply breathtaking.
Raja Ampat: The eastern Indonesian region of Raja Ampat (also called West Papua or Irian Jaya) in home to almost 10 million acres of land and sea. The area sits right in the middle of “Coral Triangle” which is the global center of Marine bio-diversity. In 2002 the Nature Conservancy conducted a scientific survey of the Raja Ampat marine environment and confirmed that more than 75% of all known coral species make their home in Raja. The survey confirmed that the waters off Raja Ampat have the highest marine bio-diversity on earth when it comes to coral and fish speies. Many of the creatures in this region can be found no place else. A dive trip to this area of our planet is truly special.
Komodo: Komodo National Park is located on the southern end of the Indonesian Archipelago. The area is home some amazing creatures including the famed Komodo Dragon on the surface and the gentle majesty of mighty manta ray. Thrilling drift dives and spectacular coral reefs are a sight to behold. The protected waters of Komodo are teaming with life both large and small.
