Turneffe Flats Resort has been recognized as Belize’s premier SCUBA diving, saltwater fishing, and marine ecotourism destination. Family owned and operated, Turneffe Flats Resort is ideally located for SCUBA divers to enjoy all 250 square miles of Turneffe’s most diverse coral atoll, expansive flats, and remarkably rich marine life.
Turneffe Flats offer eight spacious cabanas, located on the beach with sweeping panoramic views of Turneffe’s coral reef. Each air-conditioned cabana has two queen sized beds and private baths. There are also 2- and 3-bedroom villas available for families and friends traveling together.
Turneffe Flat’s main lodge includes the dining room, bar, and lounge area, as well as, a gift shop and fly shop. Meals are served family style and include a tasty combination of Belizean and International dishes. Fresh seafood, local produce and some baked pastries are the usual fare. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments are served before dinner each evening.
Belize’s atolls consistently rank among the world’s top dive locations and Turneffe Flats is ideally located to take advantage of the country’s very best scuba diving. Turneffe Flat’s dive program offers 18 dives each week, including a day of diving at Lighthouse Reef and the Blue Hole, weather permitting.
At Turneffe Flats, they provide true valet dive service. Their staff will wash and set up your equipment on the dive boat each day, so all you need to do is walk to the dive boat after a delicious breakfast and head out to one of 65 exceptional dive sites.
Turneffe Flats specializes in personalized service for a limited number of divers – generally no more than eight divers – on their 42-foot boat, Ms Turneffe. Their superb dive team make every effort to ensure that your stay in tropical paradise is as comfortable and carefree as possible.
Diving with Turneffe Flats mean your dive vacation is more than just diving, and they will do their best to make your entire experience something special. While diving throughout the Turneffe Atoll, you will see a variety of hard and soft corals as well as all of the Caribbean tropicals, eagle rays, sharks, turtles, dolphins, moray eels, and large schools of permit, horse-eye jacks and dog snapper.
Belize is the northernmost country in Central America and home to three of the four coral atolls in the Western Hemisphere. Turneffe, the largest atoll, is located approximately 30 miles from Belize City.
Turneffe Flats is located on the Northeastern side of the Turneffe Atoll on a private point with great views, sandy beach and a bonefish flat right outside the door.
